Services Held Sunday For Parks Mitcham

Funeral seervices for Parks Mitcham, 90, retired Hall County farmer, were held Sunday at the Spicer Funeral Chapel at Memphis with Rev. David W. Binkley, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Memphis with arrangements under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home.

Mr. Mitcham, who had made his home here the past 3 years with a daughter, Mrs. Ermine Blair, died at the Blair home July 3rd. He was born July 3, 1868 in Georgia.

Survivors are son son, Robert Mitcham of Memphis; four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Terry of Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Frankie Vawter of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Demia Easley of Gardenia, Calif., and Mrs. Ermine Blair of Clarendon; 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Leonard Wilson, M.A. Trussell, G.W. Bradshaw, Buster Emmons, Clyde Butler, and A.H. Moore.
