Obituary, Nov. 30, 1922:

M. BRINGARDNER IS KILLED

Instantly when he fell from tree Wednesday night.

Martin Bringardner, a farmer, aged 36 years, while trying to rescue an opossum that had lodged in a tree. Wednesday night, fell from the tree and was instantly killed when his head struck a stone, crushing his skull. Mr. Bringardner lived on the old Bringardner farm between Junction City and Somerset. He is survived by a wife and six children, the eldest being six years of age, his mother and father Mr. and Mrs. James Bringardner, two brothers and two sisters, Floyd and Leo of Junction City, and Mrs. Dan Wollenberg and Mrs. James Wollenberg of New Lexington.
The funeral was held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Joseph's church. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
