Death takes Mary Luecke; rites Friday.
MILFORD- Mrs. Mary Luecke, 79, formerly of Milford, died at 12;30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 at the Huff Shelter Care Home in Sheldon where she had resided the past two and one-half years.
She was born in Ashgrove Township January 20, 1895, daughter of Alexander and Lena Freiboth Natschke. She married Walter Luecke January 15, 1914 at Idaville. He preceded her in death in 1972.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Lewis (Mildred) Bohner and Mrs. Howard (Helen) Bohner, both of Milford and Mrs. Lloyd (Lucille) Schuler of Gilman; four sons, Leo of Buckley; Robert of Danville; Norman of Shelden and Burdette of Milford; 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Natschke of Milford and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Johnson of Jackson, MI and Mrs. Lydia Obenland of Sheldon.
She was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and three sisters.
Family services 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, at the Barker Funeral Home in Milford. Funeral services 2 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Woodworth, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Wayne Meier officiating and bural in the church cemetery.
Visitation Thursday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
