William W. son of Jasper Boslaugh and Anna McCleerey. He married Emma Rawlings on Nov. 9, 1902. They did not have children.

Ida County Pioneer Record - Thursday , December 4th, 1947 - William Wilson Boslaugh, son of Jasper and Anna Boslaugh, was born Oct. 24, 1870 in Monona County, Iowa, near the town of Mapleton and passed away at his home on Saturday morning, November 29, 1947 at the age of 77 years, one month and five days.

He lived with his parents in Monona County until 1901 when he came to Ida Grove to enter the barber business. He was united in marriage to Emma Rawlings on Nov. 9, 1902
and they have lived in Ida Grove continuously since that time. After being in the barber business for 35 years, Mr. Boslaugh retired and in 1935 built a Green House which he and Mrs. Boslaugh were operating at the time of his illness. He loved the flowers and the work in the Green House was always a pleasure for him.

Mr. Boslaugh was a member of Kane Lodge, No. 377, A.F. & A.M. of Ida Grove, Sioux City Consistory No. 5, Maple Chapter - Order of Eastern Star, No. 337, The Order of the While Shrine of Jerusalem No. 30 and the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Lodges.

He is survived by his widow, Emma; three brothers, C.C., of Mitchell, S.D.; Paul of Hastings, Nebr.; and N.N. of Hillsdale, Kansas and one sister, Lena Willis of Cherokee, Iowa.

Through all of his life, Mr. Boslaugh stood for things that were honest, upright and good and never hesitated to remain firm in his convictions in that respect. Having a keen sense of humor he made many friends who will have pleasant memories of their
associations with him. It can truly be said "He enjoyed living."

Funeral services were held at Moore & Christensen funeral home Monday at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Thos. Collins officiating. Mrs E. Swanke sang "In The Garden" and "Shadows," accompanied by Miss Mabel Walter. Interment was in the Ida Grove cemetery. Pall
bearers were Fred Overholtzer, R.J. McNelly, E.A. Swanke, W.E. Suiter, Chas. Gemmill, Roy Stewart and Herchel Sheer.
