Bonnie Lee Arnold Bean, of Williamsburg, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at Hospice House of Williamsburg.
Mrs. Bean was born Dec. 4, 1935, in Moorefield, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Foster E. Arnold and Lee Veach
Arnold.
She received a bachelor of arts degree from Ramapo College in New Jersey and was a retired teacher and antique dealer. She was active in community affairs and was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She was a fund-raiser for Community Housing and worked with the PTA and the Girl Scouts. She also was a literacy volunteer.
Survivors include her husband, M. Allen Bean II; a son, Murray Allen "Chip" Bean of Tejeras, N.M.; two daughters, Kristi Bean Hartshorn of Abingdon and Heather Bean Martens of Fairfleld, Conn.; a sister, Deane Rohrbaugh of Moorefield, W.Va.; and five grandchildren.
Pastors Ed Craft and Ted Osgood conducted the funeral at Duffey United Methodist Church in Moorefield.
