SCHUESSLER RITES
West Liberty -- Funeral rites for Adam F. Schuessler, 85, of Devenport, a former West Liberty resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Snider Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Ridge. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
Mr. Schuessler died Wednesday at Davenport Osteopathic Hospital.
Mr. Schuessler, who was know as "Ed," was born to Adam F. and Agatha Schuessler (incorrect--see note below) near Lone Tree July 14, 1887. He married Beulah Inghram Coker in March 1947.
Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Audrey Studer, and stepson, Earl Coker, both of Davenport.
[Note: his parents were incorrectly stated -- should have read Adam and Sophia Jahnke Schuessler. Adam and Agatha Eberle Schuessler were his grandparents.]
He was married to Irene Buckley on Aug, 12, 1913 in Muscatine, Iowa, and they divorced in 1914. He was a core maker at the Riverside Foundry for 33 years.
