P. R. Littlefield, 75, of 710 South Main, died at 9:30 pm Monday in Campbell Memorial Hospital after being stricken at his home two hours earlier.
A native of Parker County, Littlefield was retired from the US Public Health Service, was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Masonic Lodge, Knights of Pythias and Emmanuel Baptist Church of Weatherford.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Wilson of Midland and Miss Novelee Littlefield of Weatherford; two brothers, Onis Littlefield of Ranger and Ed Littlefield of Odessa; two sisters, Mrs. Buster Speight of Weatherford and Mrs. Leon Baker of Millsap; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30pm Wednesday in White's Chapel of Memories with Rev. Bob Farrell officiating. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford with White's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
