Rebecca Allen, dau. of Capt. John Allen and Sarah Allen, b. Feb. 1659/60 (day missing) in Charlestown, Mass. Case in The Goodrich Family calls Rebecca's mother as "Ann," but Case likely misread the Charlestown records. Ann was the first name of the wife of Capt. John Allen's older brother, Rev. Thomas Allen of Charlestown. She was Rev. Allen's first wife, Ann (Sadler) Harvard, the widow of Rev. John Harvard, namesake of Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.

On Mar. 28, 1678 in Charlestown, Mass., Rebecca m. (by Rev. Mr. Danforth) John Goodrich, eldest surviving s. of Ens. William Goodrich & Sarah Marvin of Wethersfield, Conn. He was b. in Wethersfield May 20, 1653 and d. in Wethersfield Sept 5, 1730, Æ 78. When Rebecca d. is not of record, but both she and her husband are assumed to be interred in Wethersfield with no surviving gravestones. Their children are outlined in the father's memorial.
