OBITUARY: "Bernie Martin Buracker Dies
"Bernie Martin Buracker, 80 former resident of the Stony Man section, near Luray, died suddenly at his home at Winchester, Va. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon (no day given!)
"Born in Page County on June 10, 1882, he was a son of the late Jacob and Fannie Buracker. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of the Brethren. He was united in marriage with Miss Mildred Buracker, who preceded him in death.
"Mr. Buracker is survived by six sons, Lloyd and George Buracker of Stanley; Paul, Arthur, Edward and Ernest, of Maryland, two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Williams, of Md., and Mrs. Mae Spitler of Winchester. Two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Helbert of Berryville and Mrs. Edith Comer of Luray; one brother, Dallas Buracker of Stanley; 35 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survive him.
"Funeral services were conducted at four o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Mt. Zion Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Owen Preston and Elder H.E. Wakeman officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery...
