Rev. A. J. Hoolsema conducted services at the Skeels Baptist church Friday afternoon, February 4, at 2 o'clock for Mrs. George Hall. Burial was at the Skeels cemetery.
Clare Powell was born August 10, 1871, in Antrim county, Michigan, and married George Hall in 1887. They moved to Skeels in 1910. Her death occurred at the home of her son Lester in Gladwin February 1.
She leaves her husband, George Hall; three sons, Lester of Gladwin; Percy of Skeels and Clarence of Detroit; her father, Benjamin J. Powell, 93, of Ellsworth; and two brothers, Benjamin A. Powell of Grand Rapids and John Powell of Ellsworth.
