John V. Harrigill, 72, of Roxie, died Wednesday at the Franklin County Hospital in Meadville. Services will be at 3 pm Friday at the Union Babtist Church with burial to follow in the Union Cemetery with Rev. Horace Carpenter officiating. He is survived by his wife, Doris Guice Harrigill of Roxie; five sons, Freddie Harrigill of Las Vegas, Jack and Larry Harrigill of Vicksburg; Bobby and Charles Harrigill of Natchez. three daughters, Agnis Kiser of Ferriday; Jewell Rogers of Baytown, Texas; and Patsy Shell of Germany; two brothers, Henry Harrigill of Roxie and Alton Harrigill of Fenwick; one sister, Mary Lou Reeves of Ferriday; 32 Grandchildren and13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
