Mrs. Bolin's Funeral Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Chavis Bolin will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Jack Reed. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The body will be at Dunbar Funeral Home until noon today.
Mrs. Bolin was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, near Springfield.
Survivors include her husband, Bryant Bolin of Columbia, two daughters, Mrs. May Frances Wood and Miss Joan Bolin, both of Columbia; four sons, James Bolin, Robert Bolin, Ernest Bolin and Wesley Bryant Bolin, all of Columbia; the following sisters, Mrs. Billie Abbott of Columbia, Mrs. Castie Bolin of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Lerline Williams, Mrs. Earston Williams, Mrs. Jo Williams and Mrs. Edward Hutto of Neeses and Mrs. Sadie Chavis of North. Three brothers, C.H. Chavis, Bennie Chavis and Rozell Chavis of North, also survive.
Active pallbearers will be: Billy Greene, Elton Brayboy, J.R. Wingard, Gerald Jeffcoat, Junior Cooper, Lorenzo Hutto and Jimmie Fitzsimmons. Pallbearers will meet at the funeral home at 12:30.
