Aline Ellison Christison, age 94, passed away on January 2, 2010 of causes incident to age.


She was born March 28, 1915 at Nephi, Utah, the oldest daughter of James Henry and Emma LaVern Tanner Ellison.


She graduated from Juab High School in 1933 and attended USAC (now Utah State) in Logan.


She married Ralph Merritt Christison on September 14, 1936. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple.


Aline was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in various callings. She and her husband were active for many years in business and community affairs in Ely, NV. Aline loved music and generously shared her talent. She loved her family and enjoyed making a gracious and inviting home. Upon retirement, she and her husband spent several enjoyable years in Washington, Utah.


Aline was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband of fifty-three years. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara C. (Bill) Hawes of Dewey Arizona, and LeeAnn C. (Leon) Nelson of Bountiful, Utah, nine grandchildren, and thirty-one great-grandchildren.


Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. (viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.) at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, UT.
Interment will be in the Nephi Cemetery on Monday morning.
