Austin R. Orwan, 80, of Lower Paxton Twp. died Wednesday in Polyclinic Hospital.


He retired as a track announcer/usher from Amtrak; was a graduate of Selinsgrove High School; an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Lower Paxton Twp., F&AM Lodge 21, Harrisburg Consistory and Tall Cedars of Lebanon.

Surviving are a sister, Mildred Hartman, and a brother, Samuel, both of Harrisburg.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hoover Funeral Home, Lower Paxton Twp. Burial will be in Herndon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
