DEATH OF MAY CULL.
Miss May Cull, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Cull, died early yesterday morning at the home three miles northeast of town. She had been sick with typhoid fever the past two weeks but had seemed to be on the road to recovery, when a relapse occurred and she was suddenly taken from the arms that yearned to hold her. Funeral services were conducted from the Catholic church in this city at 1 o’clock this afternoon, a large number of friends attending. The death has caused general sorrow, Miss Cull having been loved by all who knew her. The blow falls heavily upon the parents, to whom the great heart of the community goes out in unspeakable sympathy.

D.G. Dunn, a brother of Mrs. M. Cull, is here from Shawnee. He came yesterday to attend the funeral of Miss May Cull.
A touching incident of the funeral of May Cull yesterday was the bringing of flowers by each of her young lady friends. Each bunch as it was laid on the coffin bore mute testimony of the love esteem in which she was held.
Mrs. Kate McGinty of St. Louis arrived yesterday morning to attend the funeral of her sister, May Cull. Her brother, Tom Cull, who is a practicing physician in St. Louis, is ill and was unable to come.
