The funeral for Jesse A. Jack, 82, who died Monday at Bass Baptist Hospital after a short illness, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church. The Rev. Glen Kollmeyer will [officiate]. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born May 11, 1908, in Cherokee to A. and Cathy O'Connor Jack. He moved to Enid where he attended Emerson Junior High and Enid High School. He was a construction superintendent for Cummings Construction until his retirement.

On Sept. 21, 1928, he married Stella Loesch in Fairmont. She died in May 1961. He married Goldie Roads on Nov. 5, 1961, at Enid.

Jack was a charter member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Robert of Enid and Wayne of Rogers, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Deanna Miller of Enid; one sister, Mabel King of LaMesa, Calif.; four grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four stepgreat-[grandchild].

Besides his first wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers.
