A native of South Carolina
born 21st July A.D. 1774
died 17th April A.D. 1829
Over the tomb of Mrs. Glaze will long
mourn a large circle of friends and rela-
tives, who know the warmth and purity
of heart, the good sense, the conjugal and
maternal devotion, the domestic virtues,
the engaging manners, and the unaffec-
ted piety which adorned her modest and
valuable life. But let them mourn for
themselves, for their loss is her everlasting
gain. She obeyed the summons of death
with chrisitian resignation. Her spirit
in the paradise of God.
