Rites Held For Alfred P. Waters
Services were held Tuesday, April 13 in the First Baptist Church of Davenport for Alfred P. Waters, 69, who died Sunday in and Oklahoma City hospital.
Rev. G. H. Crittenden, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Muskogee, officiated at the service with burial at New Zion cemetery. Chandler Funeral Home directed arrangements.
Waters, who retired from Texaco Company in 1960, had lived in Chandler and Davenport for over 65 years. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Davenport.
Surviving are the wife, Mildred, of the home; three sons, A. P. jr. of Davis, E. E. and Kenneth both of Davenport. Also four daughters, Mrs. Lois Bromley and Mrs. Steve Swan, both of Davenport, Mrs. R. R. McDorman of Kingfisher, and Miss Virginia Waters of the Daven- home; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Crouch of Chandler, Mrs. Ed Chastain of Tulsa, Mrs. Omar Wilson of Stroud, and Mrs. Ivey Bolerjack of Dallas; also 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
