Casper Wolf Sparta Twp, died at his home near Kimmell Oct. 29. He leaves a wife, 2 sons and several daughters. The son of William K. and Susan Wolf, he was born in Green County Feb. 18, 1851; died Oct. 29, 1908, aged 57 years 8 months and 12 days. He came to Indiana with his parents in the fall of 1860 locating on the farm where he resided up to the time of his death. He married Ellen Earnhart Jan. 8, 1874. They had 8 children, Mrs. Marion Growcock, Eoline who died in infancy, Mrs. Rollin Blackman, Mrs. Hiley Baker, Mrs. A. P. Webster, Mrs. Mirom Hursey, Calvin and May Wolf. He also leaves his wife, mother, one brother, Dr. W. C. Wolf of Colorado City, Ohio, one sister, Mrs. Flora Stark of Butler and 6 grandchildren. He was a member for 22 years of Ligonier Lodge No. 267 IOOF. Obsequies at the Sparta Christian Church last Sunday. Burial, Sparta Cemetery
