Charles Caskey died Dec. 14, 2006 at Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier. He was a farmer, a butcher and a state highway employee. He was born Feb. 27, 1914 in Sparta Twp to Charles William and Sarah Elizabeth (Flynn) Caskey. He married Kathryn Alice Long on Sept. 14, 1933 in Albion. She died in Sept. 2000. Also preceding him in death were a son, Ronald, and a granddaughter. Surviving are 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Barbara and Richard and Joyce of Ligonier; 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Carolyn and Melvere Sheley of Bremen, Norma Riley of Goshen and Phyllis and Jack Hart of Millersburg; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
