Sarah Hurlbut, daughter of John and Mary, was born in Middletown, Connecticut, 05 November 1676. She married 10 June 1703, Joseph Warner of Middletown, Connecticut; (born 20 February 1672) son of Lt. Andres Jr., and Rebecca Warner. He settled in Chatham, (now Portland, Connecticut), and his death occurred 08 June 1745, and was buried in the "old Quarry Yard." By Will, dated 21 March 1745, he bequeathed an estate inventoried at L700, as follows, viz., to widow Sarah one-third for life; to his niece Mary, daughter of Nathaniel, who lived with him, L200; to the children of his sister Mary Bartlett, the children of his sister Rebecca, wife of John Hurlbut Jr., and the children of Daniel Hurlbut, son of his brother-in-law John Hurlbut Jr., deceased, 14 in all, L205; to the church, L5; the balance of the estate to nephew David Sage, who was his executor. The widow Sarah, died 04 January 1765, leaving no children.
