She graduated Clayton High School in 1946. She and Kenneth "Corky" Bullard were married for 62 years. She was a devoted wife, talented homemaker, and loving Mother. Her life was dedicated to her family and she enjoyed her grandchildren. She enjoyed poetry, crosswords, watching sports, and reading. She was quick to share he wisdom and her quotes of "old adages" and will always be remembered and appreciated. She loved her friends and cherished their relationships. In their retirement she and Corky enjoyed reuniting with their childhood friends, supporting their community and traveling around the U.S.
Wilma, is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Sue Bullard of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Joni Kay Brown of Grapevine, Texas; and Christy Renee Bullard of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers, Ed Gill, John Gill, and Ben Gill; 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Corky" Bullard, her daughter, Nancy LaAnn Bullard, her son, Gary Kent Bullard, her father Monte Gill and her mother, Ethel Maxey Gill.
Funeral services were held on July 27, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Clayton, Oklahoma. Pastor Jonathan Reichman officiated.
Pallbarers and Honorary pallbearers were, Ernest McIntyre, Byron Bohanon, Bruce Hamilton, Jerry Stamps, Danny Holt, Dee King, Gary Long, Don Burnett, Doug Hairrell, Jack Cocke, Darrell Maxey, Johnny Sands, Hodie Huddleston, Donnie Corbin, and Coy Smith.
