Passed away Sunday, September 12, 2004 at her home. She was born April 26, 1912 in Odessa Township, MI, the daughter of John and Mabel (Chapin) Majinska, and had been a resident of Comstock since 1937. On July 25, 1932 she married Austin "Doc" Allen, and for 40 years they owned and operated Allen Super Drug in Comstock. Doc preceded her in death on March 13, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Woody Singrey; 2 sisters and 1 brother. Lamoin was a member of the Comstock United Methodist Church, the Comstock Community Center for Seniors, where she enjoyed the trips and activities with other seniors, and was a lifetime member of the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by her son, Bruce R. (Joan) Allen of Richland; her daughter, Janice Singrey of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren, Lori (Randy) Robart of Comstock, Jennifer Mc Quater of Richland, Bruce R. (Stephanie) Allen of Richland, Marie Garcia of Comstock, and Christopher (Shari) Bowen of Omaha, NE; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Audie; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway with Rev. Peggy Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock Township. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
