Rev. E.E. Hudson Dead.

Died at the family home at Seventh and Harrison streets Monday, March 14th, at 1:15 p.m. in this city, Rev. E.E. Hudson, at the ripe old age of 62 years, 9 months and 13 days. Mr. Hudson had been in feeble health for several months but his condition was thought to be getting better, but on Monday afternoon, without warning the end came very suddenly.

He was a devoted husband and a kind and indulgent father, and to his friends the soul of fellowship. He was a christian and believed in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. He believed that the man that scatters flowers in the pathway of his fellow men, who lets into the dark places of life the sunshine of human sympathy and human happiness is following in the foot steps of the Master.

The funeral services were held at the Baptist church of which he was a life long member, at 3:30 o'clock, Tuesday, Rev. James A. Long officiating and paying a beautiful tribute to the memory of deceased. He was buried with the Masonic rites of which order he was a beloved member. Interment at Fairview cemetery Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 1910.

The sympathy of the Democrat and the entire community goes out to the heart broken relatives who are left to mourn his sad loss.
