Joseph Sausedo, age 83, of Council Bluffs, passed away January 1, 2010 at his home.
Born in Council Bluffs on November 7, 1926 to Jesus and Glofina (Moreno) Sausedo. Joe worked for many years at City Transit, Council Bluffs Schools where he served at Abraham Lincoln in the custodial department and later at Gary Golden's New Horizon Car Lot.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 49 years, Donna, who passed away 11-21-1998; daughter, Connie Runte; sisters, Elizabeth, Natalie, Louise and Elvira; brothers, Jessie, Vincent and Fred.
Survivors include daughters, Gloria Shamblen (Bob), Donna Teague (George), Anita Baker (Melvin), Judy Fannon; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; sisters, Jackie Tobias, Eleanor Martinez, Kathleen Maldonado, Delores Mojica, Beatrice Sausedo, Vicki Uvina; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family, Wednesday 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Vince Tobias, nephew of Joe's, will officiate. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
