Ocea Marie Bruns (formerly Davenport, Moore, Green) joined a heavenly host of friends on December 30, 2009 at the age of 82.
She was the wife to retired Lt. Colonel Vincent Bruns and mother to his children, Marty and husband Phil Paschke, and Jim Bruns, as well as "Mom" to sons Barry Moore (deceased), and Jimmy and Michael and wife Barbara Moore, and also to her daughter Darla Moore Jacobson McKee. She was "Grandma" to Fonda Smith White, Stefani Strawn, Brittiany and Kaley Moore, Jimmy Don Moore, Michael White and Jonathon Jacobson and many great-grandchildren. She was "Sister" to Rita Mills, Joanne and Glynda.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home's Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Friends and family may join us on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Resthaven between 4 and 6 p.m. for fond farewells, though you all will remain in her heart and soul always.
