Services for Steven Whipple, retired government employee who used to work at Fort Reno, will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Benson funeral chapel.
Burial will be in the El Reno cemetery.
Mr. Whipple died Wednesday in Chickasha.
He was born May 22, 1872 in Peoria, Illinois, from where he came to Canadian county in 1900. He left El Reno in 1934 and moved to Chickasha, where he had resided since.
