Funeral for Lee Otis "Bud" Carr, 74, of Danville will be Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Carr, who died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Huntsville Hospital, was born January 30, 1935, in Hillsboro to Dewey and Odelia Carr. He was retired from the City of Decatur with 25 years of service. His son, Dennis Lee Carr, preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sons, Joseph Lee Thurman and his wife, Jamie, Aron Lee Carr and Asa Charles Carr; one sister, Lois Sapp; four grandchildren, Jerimiah, Jed, Jammila and Sadi; and 22 nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Anderson Sapp, Bobby Sapp, Mitchell Parker, Mitchell Parker Jr., Kenneth Carr and Phillip Carr.
