O. U. BLAIR, 64, PADUCAH GROCER 22 YEARS, DIES
Owen U. Blair, 64, Paducah grocer for 22 years, died at 1:15 a.m. today at Lourdes Hospital. A native of Union City, Tenn., Mr. Blair had been in ill health for the past four years. He and his wife. Mrs. Mae Blair operated a food market at 2804 Turner St. He had formerly operated stores at 27th and Jackson St. and Avondale Market at 32nd and Central Ave.

Mr. Blair was a member of Broadway Methodist Church and Paducah Rotary Club.

Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jack Kleitsch of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, H. H. Blair of Paducah; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Clark of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Atlee Green of Kennett, - Mo. and two grandsons, John Blair Kleitsch and Lee B. Ford Kleitsch of Memphis.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Guy Pittman officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Cecil Draffen, Clyde Peel Sr., W. L. Hughes, C. G. Johnson, Harold Wagner and Parvin Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be Riley Peck, Charles Smedley Sr., A F. Warren, Jim Lyne, George Jacobs and: Victor Wallace. Friends may call at Lindsey Funeral Home.
