Aaron was born in Mt. Calm, Texas, to the late Aaron and Cornelia "Nealie" (Graves) Alderson. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. On Sept. 5, 1970, he married Margie Meissenheimer in Fort Worth. He was a heavy equipment operator for Cullum Construction, retiring in 1985. An avid traveler, he was also a member of the American Legion Post #522 in Whitney, VJAY1-VU1 Squadron in Pearl Harbor and the Local 178 operating engineers.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2001; daughters, Jeannie Alderson in 1966, Sharon Davis in 1988, Cheryl Davis in 2009; and a son, Johnny Alderson in 1971.
Survivors include his daughters, Suzanne Wright and her husband, Ricci, of Waxahachie, Angel Bakos and her husband, Denny, of Plano, Debbie Leatherwood and her husband, Howard, of Weatherford, and Pam Dority and her husband, Doug, of Azle; sons, Henry Alderson and his wife, Susie, of Whitney, and David Alderson, of Whitney; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Drewry, of Ganada.
