Family Tribute

Mary Rose (Warren) Glahe
1925-2009
In tribute to Mary Rose (Warren) Glahe, mother, grandmother, sister and angel. There was never a greater love than that which we, your family, will hold in our hearts. You have shown us courage, strength, and the gift of laughter judiciously used in all facets of life... rest now little mother.

Rest Quietly Little Mother

By Thomas Glahe

Rest quietly now little Mother

Into the arms that hold you

Into the warmth that enfolds you

Rest and be at peace little Mother

As you walk towards the light

Beyond this your mortal life

Beyond the pain and the strife

This warm and calming light

No more the fearful dark

The stillness of the night

The coldness and the fright

Can not harm beyond the dark

Where someone there now awaits

That has missed you more

That has longed to adore

You once again beyond the fates

Be at rest now little momma

Your children stand around you

This aura that surrounds you

Is our love for our little momma.

From your children: Mary Glahe-Ashby, Tom Glahe, Ginger Glahe-Banks, Rick Glahe, and Steve Glahe.
