George McFee age 65 years, died Sunday night at his home near Witter. His remains were interred in the Smith Cemetery, the funeral service being conducted by Jerry Simpson and Chas. L. McElhaney. Mr. McFee was a native of Knoxville, Tenn. but he had resided in Arkansas many years. He is survived by six children.

George McAfee an employee at the McElhaney stave mill at Witter, was seriously injured Wednesday when struck on the head by a stve bolt which flew from an equalizing machine. His skull is said to be badly fractured. Mr. McFee was taken prompley to the City Hospital in Fayetteville and reports from there say that his condition is very critical, with recovery extremely doubtful.

George McAfee who was seriously injured at Taylor's stave mill near Witter on Wednesday of last week, is reported to be recovering in the City Hospital at Fayetteville whre he was taken immediately after the accident.

George McAfee of Witter who was seriously injured at the stave mill here a few weeks ago, has returned home from the Fayetteville hospital and is able to be up and going about again.
