The Rev. John Mullis will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home in Lancaster.
A native of Monroe, N.C., Mrs. Horton was a licensed practical nurse at Elliott White Springs Memorial Hospital at the Marion Sims Nursing Center. She was the daughter of Miller Gallant and Louise Jenkins Knight.
Survivors are her husband, John Thomas Horton; daughter, Mrs. Lori Blackmon; parents; brothers, Jack Knight of Indian Trail, N.C., Benny Knight, Berry Knight, Donnie Knight, all of Monroe; sisters, Mrs. Gail Caldwell, Mrs. Eugene Helms, both of Monroe; one grandchild.
