He was born in the Spokane Valley to Clyde and Wilma (Mc Dowell) Overdorff and passed away on September 14, 2008. He attended West Valley High School and served in WWII as a Merchant Marine in the Pacific Theater of War. After the war he worked in sales until he started his own business in 1972, General Spray Service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and lifetime member of the NRA. Jack had a real zest for life and we will all miss his many pranks. He loved his family and country and is survived by his son, John Overdorff (Connie); daughter, Judy Overdorff; sister, Dolores Rinehart of Salem, OR; three granddaughters, Shelley Thielen (Brent), Angela Craner (Jason) and Becky Wheeler (Andy); five great-grandchildren; three nieces and friend, Charlene Wornstaff. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine and two sisters, Carolyn and Norine. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley with Pastor Ray Ruef officiating. Private inurnment Fairmount Memorial Park, Spokane.
