Ernest Lloyd Anderson, 85, of HC 63, Box 3, Witter, Arkansas died September 26, 1997 at Northwest Medical Center at Springdale, Arkansas. He was born November 7, 1911 at Cove, Arkansas. He is the son of Elbert and Abbie Burnett Anderson. He was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Maisie Ryan Anderson, on November 19, 1986, one brother, Keith Anderson, and one sister, Mrs. Lorene Martin.
Survivors include; one daughter, Mrs. Joy Russell of Witter, Arkansas; one grandson, Dustin Russell; and two granddaughters, Miss Christy Russell and Miss Shandy Russell, both of Witter, Arkansas.
Graveside services were held at the Witter Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27th with Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating. Pallbearers will be: John Anderson, James Anderson, Joe Anderson, Marvin Ryan, Parker Woods and John Paul Swearengin. Arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Ernest and Maisie married on 2 April 1935 at Witter, Madison County, Arkansas. They were married by Ernest's grandfather, Rev. Carroll Ward Anderson.
