Margaret Lewis, 86, died Aug. 4 in a Waco nursing home.
Graveside services were held Aug. 7 at Restland Cemetery.
She was born July 27, 1903, in Calvert, where she was reared and attended school. She married Will Lewis in February, 1947. He preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1970. She attended beautician's school and owned and operated Margaret's Beauty Shop in Purmela for several years.
A former resident of the Gatesville area, she had lived in Waco the past 15 years.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Helen Cash of China Spring; one sister, Mamie K. Stricker of Waco; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
