Tomie Alexander

Funeral for Tomie Lee Alexander, 40, of Route 5 Hartselle will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Summit Baptist Church with the Rev. R.C. Borden and the Rev. Dewey Pendleton officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Garden of Memory with Brown Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mr. Alexander died Thursday at Decatur General Hospital. He was a member of Summit Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher and deacon.

He is survived by his wide, Karen Alexander; two sons, Jeff Alexander and Jason Alexander, both of Hartselle; two daughters, Shana Alexander and Emily Alexander, both of Hartselle; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Alexander of Hartselle; two brothers, Billy Alexander of Orange City, Fla. and Charles Hill of Okeechobee, Fla.; and one sister, Shirley Eddy of Hartselle.
