Mr. Hoins was born near Nora and farmed many years in Webster and Nuckolls Counties near Guide Rock.
Surviving are his wife, Dora; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Theora) Lang of Edgar and Mrs. Albert(Audrey) Lambrecht of Kenesaw; two sisters, Mrs. Fern Laird of Edgar and Mrs. Loren (Amy) Bailey of Guide Rock; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Dan Hoins died at the Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls
County Hospital Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 4 days.
Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m., from the
Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel, Superior, with the Rev. Marion Knoell officiating. Burial was in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Daniel Herman Hoins, one of 10 children of Louis and Lucetta McClurd Hoins, was born April 7, 1907, on a farm near Nora.
June 18,1929, he was united in marriage to Dora Woodward at Clay Center. To this union two
children, Theora and Audrey, were born.
Hoins farmed in Webster and Nuckolls Counties for 45 years before his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Irvin, Frank, Eldon, Clifford and Gilbert, and two sisters Bessie Tumbleson and Bernice Barfknecht.
Those left to mourn are his wife, Dora; daughters, Mrs.
Raymond Lang (Theora), Edgar, and Mrs. Albert
Lambrecht (Audrey), Kenesaw; sisters, Mrs. Fern
Laird of Edgar and Mrs. Loren Bailey (Amy), Guide Rock; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
