Mr. William E. "Bill" Terrell of Gurdon, Arkansas, died Sunday, December 27, 2009, in Arkadelphia. Mr. Terrell was 78 years, 8 months, and 27 days old. He was a retired employee for Firestone and was a United States NAVY veteran. Mr. Terrell was the son of the late Wheeler Thomas and Edith Bell (King)Terrell.

Mr. Terrell was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by: his wife, Nadine Harper Jackson Terrell of Gurdon; three sons, William Thomas Terrell of Virginia, Darrell Terrell and Wendell Terrell both of Louisiana, one daughter Laura Smith of Mississippi, two step sons, Joe David Jackson of Benton, and Barry Paul Jackson of Paragould; one step daughter, Vicky Plasek of Gurdon; three brothers, Harry Terrell of Louisiana, Jimmy Terrell of Florida and Charles Terrell of Louisiana; two sisters, Ida Eubanks and Irma Cox both of Louisiana; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Pharr Funeral Home in Gurdon, Arkansas. Brother Rusty Jones and Brother Randy Cox, officiated the services. Mr. Terrell was laid to rest at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
