Clarence Fredrick John Stevens was born Nov 7 1949 to Lawrence Fredrick Stevens and Edna Louise Moyer in Modesto California. His sibling include 5 sisters. Fred as he was known resided all of his life in Stanislaus county California; living in places such as Turlock, Keys, Hughson, Ceres, and Modesto. In Oct 1967 he joined the US Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. In Apr 1968 he married Nancy Ann Fullen in Hughson California. Their union produced one daughter in 1969 and one son in 1971. In 1970 Fred visited the "Rim of the World' in Washington state with his wife, her father Lonnie, her brother Leroy and his sister Debra. He returned to Washington 10 years later to preform masonry work on a bridge spanning the Columbia River. Fred did cement masonry and carpenter throughout his life.Although he and Nancy separated in about 1985 they remained married. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gold dredging. He died on Dec 4 1988 in Modesto California and is buried in the Ceres Cemetery.
