OBITUARY:
Mary Eunice Ewart Cato, 91, of Huntersville, NC, died Friday, August 24, 2007 at Olde Knox Common Nursing Facility. She was born on August 9, 1916 in Mecklenburg County to the late John and Ella Ewart. She was retired from the Mecklenburg Tax Office and was a 1934 graduate of Huntersville High School. She was a life long member of Huntersville ARP Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Lake Norman, Olde Knox Commons and the Havens at Highland Creek. She is survived by her sons, John Cato (Linda) of Mint Hill and William 'Butch' Cato (Sheila) of Huntersville; grandchildren, William Scott Cato (Ginger), Mary Elizabeth Weaver (Jack), Lori Cato and her son, Daren. She is preceded in death by husband, William Hazel Cato; daughter, Jo Elaine Cato; brother, Joe and his wife Edith. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Huntersville ARP Church with Rev. Michael Lineberger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
