Funeral Services for John W. (Andy) Anderson, 68, well-known Havre resident who died in a local hospital last Saturday, will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are his wife, a son Dale of Havre and a daughter Mrs. George (Shirley Gerpheide of Kalamazoo, Mich.
Other survivors are Clarence, Fred, Ted, and Ben of Minneapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Del Markley and Mrs. Bert Peterson both of Minneapolis.
There are four surviving grandchildren.
Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 9,1892 at Minneapolis, and was married on May 4,1917 to Miss Agatha Marie Dietz at Williston, N.D.
He worked for an auto supply firm in Minot and an auto tire shop at Williston. Mr. Anderson came to Havre from Great Falls in the early 1920's.
He operated a tire shop here for many years. In 1952 he became associated with his son in the construction business.
Mr. Anderson was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion, VFW and World War I Veterans.
He was also a member of Have Lodge No. 55 AF and AM, Havre Lodge No. 1201, BPO Elks, and was a former Rotarian.
Mr. Anderson has also served as a trustee of the First Presbyterian Church.
