Augusta Pleasant Pulliam Harris, 92, of Roxboro, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Lenny Thomas Pulliam and Daisy Day Pulliam.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Harris; one daughter, Patsy Harris Duncan; two brothers; four sisters.
Surviving are her son, Tommy F. Harris and wife, Joan of Siler City; two brothers: Wilton Pulliam of Roxboro, and Rev. Jimmy Pulliam of Allensville; two grandchildren: Lisa H. Martindale of Siler City and Giles Duncan of Hayesville; two great-grandchildren: Emily Martindale and Rachel M. Shaw; two great great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Surl Primitive Baptist Church with her brother, Rev. Jimmy Pulliam officiating. Burial will follow in the Surl Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visiaitaion will be held one hour prior to the service (1-2 PM).
