A Solemn Requiem Mass has been scheduled for Jessie Brower Galloway, 84, Canton, formerly of Athens for 10:30 AM Monday at St. Stephens Anglican Church in Athens, Father Jerry Pardue, Celebrant, interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.

Mrs. Galloway passed away July 19, 2005 in Tyler.

She was born August 3, 1920 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the late Delma Clarence and Jessie May Williams Ellett.

Mrs. Galloway was retired from the United States Postal Service where she served as an Administrative Assistant to the Postal Inspectors. She was a Hamm Radio operator having the call letters of WA5TMV and a member of the St. Stephens Anglican Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law and her husbands, Les Brower and Jack Galloway.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki Lynn & David Lynn Haimes, Canton, step-daughter and son-in-law, Angela Galloway & Todd Brockman, Trinity, Texas, step-daughter, Patty Bergeron, Applesprings, Texas, grandsons, Jeremy Lynn Haimes, Canton and Allen Svadlenak, Trinity, Texas, granddaughter, Summer Lynn Haimes, Tyler, great granddaughter, Kylee Faith Lookabaugh, Tyler, sister and brother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth & John Sweeny, Dallas, numerous nieces and nephews including, David & Rhonda Polvado, Sherry & Daryl Poage, Julie & Steve Ellett, numerous grand nieces and nephews.
