Funeral services for John G. Geiselbrecht, 85, The Grove livestock farmer, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday, at Scott's Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Jimmie Brazzil officiated, with burial in Restland Cemetery.
Mr. Geiselbrecht died Thursday afternoon in a Temple hospital.
Born Feb. 23, 1889, in Gatesville, he was reared here and moved to The Grove in 1917.
He married Miss Ethel Ayres on Jan. 4, 1920. She died in 1970.
Mr. Geiselbrecht was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Lloyd Geiselbrecht of Irving; one brother, O. C. (Jack) Geiselbrecht of Gatesville; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Spurlin of Temple and Mrs. Minnie Graham of Moody; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Geiselbrecht was preceded in death by two sons and a daughter.
Pallbearers for Mr. Geiselbrecht's funeral were Arlington Barr, E. P. Spurlin, Jerry Petrie, Marshall King, Burl Watts, and Ted Graham.
