Harvey W. Aden, 60, buyer and local manager of the Hill Packing company, died at 4:30 Saturday afternoon in an Omaha hospital. He was taken suddenly ill two weeks ago and entered the Omaha hospital ten days ago for special care. The family home is at 208? South Logan. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in St. Paul's English Lutheran church by the Rev. John B. Rupley, pastor. A prayer service for the family will be held in the Livingston-Sondermann funeral home preceding the service at the church. Burial will be in Grand Island cemetery.

Mr. Aden was born at Gothenburg in Jan. 31, 1887, to Mr. and Mrs. George Aden. He attended school and grew to manhood in Gothenburg. He and Miss Martha Block were married at Gothenburg on Dec. 9, 1906. They began their home on a farm near Gothenburg and resided there until nine years ago. In 1937, they disposed of their interests at Gothenburg and came to Grand Island. Since that time, Mr. Aden had been associated with the Hill Packing company. Mr. Aden was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of St. Paul's English Lutheran church here.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Archie Aden, Estherville, Ia.; Ray Aden, Fargo, N. D., and Burton Aden, Grand Island; three daughters, Mrs. R. H. Reinsche, Eustis; Mrs. Ivan Wiggans, Gothenburg, and Mrs. B. J. Cunningham, jr., Omaha; four brothers, Ben Aden, Juergen Aden, Hy M. Aden, and Frank Aden, all of Gothenburg; three sisters, Mrs. Adolph Kuhlmann and Mrs. Arthur Kampfe, both of Gothenburg, and Mrs. August Hoeger, Fargo, N. D., and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, the late John C. Aden; and one sister, Mrs. John Frerichs. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock this evening at the Livingston-Sondermann funeral home.
