"SERVICES FRIDAY FOR James Dyer

CAMBRIDGE, O., - Funeral service for James Albert Dyer, 76, of 706 Grant avenue, will be conducted at McCracken funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Wilbur Cash. Burial will be made in Byesville cemetery.
Mr. Dyer died Wednesday morning at the home of his daughter Mrs. Hazel McCauley.
Born in Washington county on Feb. 5, 1876, he was the son of Christopher and Charity Marshall Dyer. On Oct. 29, 1898 he married Jenny Long who died April 25, 1928.**
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs McCauley, at whose home he died, and Mrs. Eva McKim of Cambridge; two brothers, Christoper and Joseph, both of Cambridge; and a sister, Mrs. Nannie Gheen, of Byesville. One son, one daughter and seven brothers and sisters are deceased."

** Her name was Jane "Jennie" Longfellow.

James and Jennie had four children;
