John W. Capron Jr. Age 60, late of Lockport, Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Rush University Medical Center, after a five year courageous struggle with Colon Cancer. Born in Milwaukee, WI, living in Lockport for 34 years. Retired from KIA Motors of America after nine years of service. He was a retired member of the Mechanics Union Local 701. John loved his boat and his '67 Mustang. A U.S. Air Force Veteran. Survived by his loving wife Mary Kay (Starkey), his children Kelly (Clint) Schmittlein, Meghan (Zack) Fijal and Jay (Devon), loving grandfather to McKenna, Annika and Jack, his parents John "Jack" and Eleanor (Arends), a brother Dan (Mary Anne), sisters Mary Beth (Bob) Theriault and Ellen (Jim) Polzin. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009, 9:30 am from the O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME, 1105 EAST 9TH STREET, (159TH STREET), LOCKPORT to St. Joseph Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
