Indianapolis Star - Saturday December 7, 1918:
Funeral services for Edward E. Meldrum and his wife, Mrs. Nancy Meldrum, who died of pneumonia within two days of each other, will be held at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the home on Ludlow Avenue. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Both were victims of pneumonia, Mrs. Meldrum dying on Tuesday afternoon and her husband on Thursday. Mr. Meldrum was 30 years old, and his wife was 26. They are survived by two children--Harry, 6 years old, and Mason, 2, both of whom are ill. Mr. Meldrum also is survived by his mother, Mrs. Louis Meldrum; a sister, Mrs. Mary Rhude; and two brothers, George and Julian Meldrum. Mrs. Meldrum is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George M. Melvin. Mr. Meldrum was foreman at the Brookside Lumber Company.

The funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7 at their home at 1 p.m. Burial Crown Hill.
