Margaret Lindsay (Denny) McKee, 98, was the daughter of Elizabeth Hollingsworth and George Littrell Denny, a Republican who served as mayor in the late 1940s. Her grandfather, Caleb Stone Denny, was a three-term Republican mayor in the 1880s and '90s. She was the widow of Hiram Wasson McKee. Margaret was a life trustee of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, a life honorary member of its fine arts committee, and gave a significant collection of etchings by French artist Felix Bracquemond to the IMA. She was a member of the Colonial Dames of America, Contemporary Club, Dramatic Club, Progressive Club and Woodstock Club. She is survived by her three children, Fred W. (Susan), George D. (Cheryl) and Grace M. Norris (Scott) and four grandchildren, David H. McKee (Christie), Elizabeth G. McKee-Gliottone (Russ), Lindsay C. Norris and Victoria S. Norris. Services were conducted in Trinity Episcopal Church.
